Sweet Child O’ Mine” is a song by the American rock band Guns N’ Roses, featured on their debut studio album, Appetite for Destruction (1987). Released on August 17, 1988 as the album’s third single, the song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart,[1] becoming the band’s first and only number-one single in the U.S. Billboard ranked it as the No. 5 song for 1988.[2] It reached number six on the UK Singles Chart, when re-released in 1989

  1. Great music, but a shitty band if you’re a fan trying to see them live. I was supposed to see them when they played with Metallica, but they never showed up.
