Just as a reminder the Frank Carson and others preliminary hearing will continue tomorrow morning at 9:30 AM.

Most of you are aware of what happened about 10 days ago when Jesse Garcia the defense attorney for Georgia DeFilippo had tripped on the curb outside the courthouse and as it turned out he broke two bones in his ankle. As what is customary in this type of medical cases they had to wait for the swelling to go down to perform surgery and he is expected to be out this next week at least.

When court resumes tomorrow decisions will have to be made by Ms. DeFilippo and the court on which direction to proceed. One possibility is for Mr. DeFilippo to be severed out of the hearing to be done at a later date if necessary, a second alternative may be to assign another counsel to Ms. DeFilippo, and I guess another possibility is for her to continue on Pro per.

To be honest I’m not sure what the most probable direction this will take and I guess I will just have to take a wait-and-see attitude until tomorrow. It must be noted that this last week of the court being dark was scheduled anyway so there was only maybe two days lost in this hearing that all probably go on at least another month maybe longer.

I will advise of any information that becomes available as soon as I get it.

  1. I think the best option is dropping the charges against Ms. DeFilippo. I have no clue how she is involved in this case.

I have been reading an article from the Turlock Journal (above link). It says Kaufmann was buried in a field near Pop-Cork for 27 days. I thought they said it was on Carson’s property?

The only way the Carson’s wife and daughter are related to the case are through a simple phone call-

“The suggestion of violence Ferreira referenced comes from a recorded conversation detailed in the Ramey warrant affidavit between DeFilippo and her daughter, in which the daughter said she was bothered by the neighbors mowing their lawn and DeFilippo asked her daughter if she should “come and shoot them.” The investigators said it was relevant because it showed the “first response to problems at the property involved at least the threat of violence” ”

That’s it? That is all they have against Carson’s wife and step daughter? People say stuff like that all the time. That right there shows how ridiculous this case is. Charges against them should have been dropped a long time ago. A person is tired in the morning and the neighbor is doing anything noisy people say stuff like “I want to just kill that guy!” Not meaning of course “kill” literally. Ridiculous!

They have several different theories and I have personally have not heard any theory that has been sustained by facts because I have not heard anything just conjecture and at times it seems wishful thinking by investigators. And everything with this prosecutor is a consciousness of guilt, like exercising your due process rights by filing complaints and lawsuits against law enforcement.
If they would just put some facts up it would be interesting to hear but the five months that I’ve been sitting there I haven’t heard any yet, just conjecture.

  3. It’s crazy man! I am never going to say anything on the phone like “He’s late again, I could just kill him! This is so frustrating!”

My goodness! This is way crazy. OR maybe I am not awake yet and still dreaming.
