Conceal Carry Weapon Classes We now have classes in Oakdale Sportsman’s Club in Oakdale.

INITIAL CCW CLASS: (2 – 4 Hour classes and 1 – 8 hour class)

Cost: $150 (Madison Society members only)

(2 Hour classes CA Gun laws & gun safety. + 2- Hours of weapons qualification):

Mandatory Equipment For All Classes

Handgun – The gun(s) you’ll be putting on your application
Holster – Outside the waistband side holster made for the specific make and model handgun you’ll be using
Hearing Protection
Eye Protection
Comfortable close toed tennis shoes or boots. NO flip-flops, sandals or heels.

Recommended Equipment

Magazine pouch
2 spare magazines or speed loaders
Electronic hearing protection


Please wear layers and be prepared for any type of weather, we will be on the range RAIN or SHINE. Please make sure you can tuck in your sweater or other garments so there is no interference with the gun or holster. Pants should have belt loops and pockets. Gloves may be worn, as well.


Factory-new ammunition with full-metal jacket. No reloaded ammunition, please.

  • Initial CCW and Introduction to handgun class: 150 rounds and 50 rounds for all additional guns
  • Renewal CCW: 50 rounds


Please bring lunch, dinner, and/or snacks depending on the time of your class. We will have breaks but there will not be enough time to go and get food.
No food services are provided on site.
