A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE:
A DAUGHTER FINDS HER FATHER
23 years ago, today, 12/26/94, my sister called me & told me to go look at the front page of the Modesto Bee. There he was, our dad. I had not seen him since I was 12ish years old. I drove down Yosemite Blvd and saw him walking down the street. We were able to meet again. I am forever grateful that God answered my prayers to find him. Over the next decade we were able to reunite & build a healthy relationship. Not just he & I but my sister & our kids that came along, but especially with our mom. He died 10 years later almost to the day, on 12/17/04, surrounded by the 3 women he never stopped loving.
Mistakes & bad decisions are made by everyone. Some are worse than others. I urge everyone to find a way to humble yourself and forgive loved ones & most importantly, family.
The biggest mistake anyone can make is to not allow someone the opportunity to prove to you that your forgiveness wasn’t a mistake.
I REALLY LOVE THIS STUFF, IF ANYONE ELSE HAS A STORY LET ME KNOW…….
