ANNOUNCED MARCH 3,2020

Stanislaus County District Attorney

Today marks the end of an era at the District Attorney’s office. Criminal Investigator Kirk Bunch retired after more than 19 years with the office serving the citizens of Stanislaus County AND…..a law enforcement career of over 33 years. And if that wasn’t enough, he also served our country in the US Army from 1982-1985.

Investigator Bunch was a tremendous asset to this office. He had a passion for his job and truly cared about victims. He will be greatly missed and we wish him all the best. Thank you Investigator Bunch for your service to the citizens of Stanislaus County!

DAWG SAYS: YOU THINK HE WILL BE MISSED?

  1. I think Kirk Bunch was the first one to be thrown under the bus because of the Frank Carson case. I suspect that there will be other “retirements” in the future of people involved with this travesty of justice. It will take a long time for the reputation of the Stanislaus County DA’s Office to recover from his actions. There certainly are more people in the DA’s Office that deserve “retirement.” The voters will have to retire one of them. Tom Jensen

  2. Too bad we still have NO Justice in Stanislaus County! We need to remove their leader Fladiger!

watcha gotta say?
