CHANGES IN SUNDAYS DEBATE…….

The Democratic presidential debate between former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will be held in a Washington, D.C., studio instead Phoenix, Ariz., to cut down on travel for the campaigns over fears about the spread of the coronavirus.

The Democratic National Committee has said that there would be no live studio audience, as party leaders seek to avoid large gatherings where people could pass the virus to one another.

“Out of an abundance of caution and in order to reduce cross-country travel, all parties have decided that the best path forward is to hold Sunday’s debate at CNN’s studio in Washington, D.C., with no live audience,” said DNC spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa.

In addition, the Univision anchor Jorge Ramos will no longer be one of the moderators. The DNC said that he had recently been “in proximity with someone who was in direct contact with a person that tested positive for coronavirus.”

Ramos and the person he was in contact with are both symptom free at the moment, but he will step aside out of an abundance of caution.

“Despite being cleared by medical professionals and out of an abundance of caution, Jorge has decided to step aside from participating in the upcoming March 15 democratic debate. Univision’s News Anchor Ilia Calderón will moderate the debate in his place,” Hinojosa said. “Our number one priority has and will continue to be the safety of our staff, campaigns, and all those involved in the debate.”

The coronavirus has dramatically altered how the candidates are campaigning.

Biden and Sanders have cancelled large rallies and are giving speeches remotely, to avoid social contact.

DAWG SAYS: I WILL TRY TO STREAM THE DEBATE BUT IT IS HARD TO FIND A GOOD FEED.

WHEN YOUR EX LIVES NEXT DOOR…….

Don’t hate the player, hate the middle finger that’s now pointing at your house from your jilted lover’s back patio.

Alan Markovitz recently moved in to a home in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., next door to his ex-wife. He then proceeded to erect this bronze statue in her — and her new boyfriend’s — honor:

“[I]t’s hard for me to enjoy my baths now because my fav tub is in my moms bathroom which faces out towards tif and alans house,” Tuohy wrote in a tweet that is no longer available.

“I’m so over her,” Markovitz said. “This is about him. This is about him not being a man.”

Markovitz told MyFox Detroit he never meant for his statue to make headlines.

TOM HANKS AND WIFE TEST POSTIVE…….

Tom Hanks confirmed on Twitter tonight that he and wife Rita Wilson have both tested positive for coronavirus, or COVID-19, after experiencing colds, body aches, and slight fevers while in Australia. Per Deadline, the couple are currently there preparing for Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming Elvis Presley film, in which Hanks will play Presley’s manager Colonel Tom Parker.

“Well, now. What to do next?” Hanks wrote, in true wholesome Hanks fashion. Following medical guidelines, “We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time-approach, no?”

SAN FRANCISCO NEARLY A GHOST TOWN…….

A few pictures taken in the last few days in San Francisco,

has almost an appearance of a ghost town.

The city already suffering from sanitation issues from the homeless,

was already suffering a loss of tourism.

Now Corona has made it worse,

not to mention many people now not able to go to work.

MYSTERIES OF DEATH VALLEY…….

ROCKS MYSTERIOUSLY GLIDE ACROSS THE DESERT

The Racetrack Playa has long held a mystery that baffled scientists: large rocks, sometimes weighing hundreds of pounds, would seem to glide across the dry lake bed, leaving trails behind them.

In 2013, the mystery was finally solved. Under certain conditions, the lake would freeze, with a thin sheet of ice on top of a thin layer of liquid water from rain the previous day. As the massive ice sheets on top began to break up in the breeze, they pushed the massive rocks along the ground.

This mysterious movement is only possible under a very specific set of conditions, and in some very unusual environments – like Racetrack Playa:

The first requirement is rain in a parched climate. Next, temperatures must fall low enough to freeze the water before it evaporates. Then the sun has to come out and thaw the ice. Finally, wind has to blow strongly enough to break the ice into floes and move it across shallow water underneath.
