The small town of McGill is one of those places where time seems to move slower.

Located in White Pine County, not a ton goes on here. However, when summer comes you can bet you’ll find most of the locals hanging out at this natural swimming hole.

The pool typically opens for the summer on Memorial Day Weekend and can be enjoyed Thursday through Tuesday from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm.

For years, this delightful community swimming spot has been the go-to place to pass those long summer days.

The pool first opened back in 1930. That means generations upon generations of Nevadans have enjoyed the pool’s lovely clear waters.

The naturally warm pool is fed by a nearby spring. The pool comes complete with a slide, diving boards, and even a beach of beautiful white sand. It’s the picture perfect place to relax and take in the views.

Admission to the pool is only $3.50 for adults, $2.50 for children, and free for kids 3 years and younger. The pool is the perfect cheap activity to keep the whole family entertained for hours on end.
