Clear Water Activities

How do you want to venture into the most pristine water around? Kayak?

Water ski? Or how about an old fashioned dip in the lake?

Vikingsholm Castle

Tired of the clear water? Take a hike to this castle!

According to one source, “Vikingsholm Trail starts from the stone observation area above Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe, about 9 miles north of South Lake Tahoe.

this is a moderate one-mile dirt and paved road hike (with about a 450-foot elevation change) from the parking lot to bottom of Emerald Bay, but be prepared to hike back up.

When at the end of the trail you can take the Vikingsholm Castle tour available 7 days a week from mid-June until the end of September from 10am to 4pm.”

Bring your kids and lounge at the water’s edge.

Teach your kids how to skip rocks.

Or, just put a chair in the water and dip your toes in while reading that book you’ve been dying to read forever!

Not to push the kayaking too much, but you really need to try it.

You don’t need to be in tip top shape to enjoy the

clearest water around in one of these.

My hubby and I just rented one and had the time of our lives –

and we’re definitely NOT in shape!
