A COLUMN FROM THE WASHINGTON TIMES
A conservative activist says media censorship and massive voter fraud are two formidable weapons Democrats will count on to prevent Donald Trump from a second term.
A COLUMN FROM THE WASHINGTON TIMES ROBERT KNIGHT
As the 2020 campaign trail approaches the finish line, President Trump continues to hold rallies in key battleground states, while Joe Biden continues to campaign mostly from his Delaware basement, occasionally venturing out for short appearances in front of miniscule crowds. The question is which strategy will work?
Robert Knight, a conservative activist and columnist for The Washington Times, is optimistic about Republican chances.
“I think the Republicans will hold the Senate,” he predicts. “They may even take the House. People are fed up with the violence, and at the top of the Democratic ticket, Joe Biden’s probably the weakest candidate we’ve had in years. We thought Hillary Clinton was a poor candidate, but I think Joe Biden has topped her by hiding away in his basement, stumbling over his words, [and] buying into the far-left agenda of Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. He’s a disaster.”
Still, there are two things Knight says can help Biden win: “The continued censorship of real information and a massive operation of vote fraud.”
“The Republicans have hired a lot of lawyers and poll watchers because they know that the Democrats will do anything to regain power,” he continues. “I hope these people are on the alert and will be able to foil any voter fraud plans.”
BIDENS FITNESS STILL IN QUESTION
Meanwhile, with Joe Biden’s mental fitness in question, the Trump campaign has warned voters that a vote for Biden is really a vote for Kamala Harris.
A new Public Religion Research Institute poll released this week shows that only 36 percent of black men said Biden selecting a woman of color as his running mate was a good idea. Pundits have also questioned the selection of Harris in light of the fact that Democrat primary voters overwhelming rejected her presidential bid.
“She’s an empty shell,” says Jesse Lee Peters, founder and president of the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND). “I believe she thinks she’s running for president, even though she claims to be running for vice president, and they’re just using Joe Biden to get her in there. But she doesn’t have a chance. She’s hurting more than she’s helping. This woman lost during the primary. What makes them think that she’s going to be an asset right now?”
So Peters is optimistic about Trump’s chances on Election Day.
“I think that before it is all said and done, this is going to be an overwhelming election,” he tells OneNewsNow. “It’s going to be far greater than what the liberal media and others are telling you. They tried to pull the same thing off with Hillary Clinton, saying that the polls were for Hillary; the people were against Donald Trump, and it turned out that wasn’t true.”
Whatever happens, Knight says America hangs in the balance.
