SOME OLD SCHOOL GADGETS WE STILL USE

They just do not make things like they used to

1988 Ariens GT20 with 60″ deck and the boy who will hopefully still be riding it when he’s in his 30s.

Drafting kit from Germany. Not entirely sure how old it is, but still used regularly.

(Pencil and Protractor not original. Black padding added after original cork rotted away)

Bought 30 years ago when I got my first place to myself.

It’s seen a lot of use over the years and has needed zero maintenance.

I cleaned up for the first time in a long time, and it looks practically new still.

1995 Toyota Corolla. These things just can’t die. It still runs.

35 y/o fire truck that kids still play with.

It still has the orange shag carpet put on the seat to make it more comfortable.

  1. I have and often use a much older Kitchen Aid mixer. Still works great and I have a number of accessories for noodle making and grinding out meat for meatloaf (beef, pork & lamb ground together).
