Fake Cop Pulls Over Car And Gets Driver’s Information. He Continued The Act Until A Real Cop Pulled Up.

A man is accused of impersonating a police officer and pulling people over in Florida. He was only busted when a real cop pulled up next to him.

Now, authorities are asking anyone who was pulled over by the suspect to contact police.

This week police in Tampa, Florida, said they arrested John Inglis on a charge of impersonating a police officer and violating a risk protection order.

Tampa police had responded to a report of a suspicious SUV with red and blue lights acting like a police officer, according to authorities.

Florida Highway patrol had also investigated a similar incident on I-75 where the suspect took a gun from a pulled-over vehicle, according to authorities.

The fake cop had activated lights, pulled over victims, approached their vehicle and asked for their information, police said.
